ESR Benefits Realisation
ESR has been designed and developed to be the comprehensive, integrated workforce management system which will deliver the Workforce Strategy for the NHS.
With all 586 NHS organisations now live on ESR in England and Wales, the focus is now on the following:
- Supplying a quality system and service which is robust and efficient
- Encouraging and assisting in the full realisation of ESR benefits and utilisation of the expansion pack
- Exploiting synergies with other national initiatives and reporting capabilities
- Positioning ESR as the workforce information system for the NHS and source of NHS workforce data from April 2009
This section introduces the ESR Benefits Realisation Strategy and the approach that has been developed to enable a systematic and planned realisation of system benefits.
