NHS Employers Conference Presentation

"Workforce planning: how to do it"

At the NHS Employers Conference entitled "More than a number – building a workforce for the future" which was held on 10th April 2008 at the Business Design Centre, London, an ESR presentation "Workforce planning: how to do it" was made by Simon Willcock (ESR Programme Director), supported by Kieron Walsh (NHS Development Consultant). Reference was made during the presentation to the Reports Manual on ESR’s 'knowledge-base' (Kbase) including the “Reports Document 6 'How to' Board Reports” document which contains many of the most pertinent reports for use in Workforce Planning as well as for producing Board Reports. The Reports Manual contains this document and a series of others which provide details of all the standard reports available in ESR and can be found on Kbase.
